4th Grade News Thank you to the parents that were able to chaperon the library, Sutter's Fort and Indian Museum. We had a great day and were blessed that the rain waited until we pulled back into the school parking lot. Report cards need to be signed and returned by Wednesday. I strongly suggest if you find your child is struggling in any subject or even if they received a grade of C in Math or Reading he/she would find the OLG Summer Camp extremely beneficial. The students need to be bringing the biography book they chose to read during silent reading time. They will be doing an "In Class" report on the person of their choice. Please see that your child is reading a different book at least 15 minutes a night. A "Biography 2 litter bottle Project" has been assigned and is due April 13th. Student's that did not finish the Saint power point brought their usb home and should bring them back on Monday with the power point complete. They had ample class and computer time to work on this project. April 30th is the OLG Art Show and the fourth graders will be preforming the fables they have been working on. Your child will be bringing home the prop/costume list they may need and will need to bring those props to school April 19th. They will be preforming in our classroom and I will let you know the time soon. They should be working on memorizing their lines. Camp field trip money is due March 31st. Please make the check out to OLG for $65. Chaperon money is due Wednesday along with the student's. We came in second place in the Box Top contest. Since we did such a great job we will be getting an ice cream treat. Please continue to send them in after that date also.
FOURTH GRADE ROCKS! Enjoy your week!
