Dear Parents,

        I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I think the students are looking forward to our field trip to the Little Red Schoolhouse this week. As we work together I am sure this will be a very successful school year.

The tentative assignments for May 21st-25th are: 

Math-   Review perimeter, area, volume, ratio and probability.

English-  Do p. 482 (Parts of speech) and pages 258-259 (persuasive writing).  Pretest- Wed.  Chapter test- Thurs. or Fri. 

Reading-   Read Tom Sawyer- chapters 33-35.  Do included questions. Please sign questions that are below 80%.  They are in their notebook.  Review book and final test on Friday.  Read last AR book due May 24th.

Social Studies-  Read pp.642-657.  Do included vocabulary and questions.  Vocabulary - Fri.

Science- Unit review-Mon.  Discuss what the saw at the Little Red Schoolhouse-Tues.  Thurs. and Fri.-Weekly Reader on digestion.

Vocabulary-  Review unit.  Review year spelling words.

Religion-  Family Life Book chapter 9- Mon. Unit 10-Wed.  Unit 9 and 10 review-Thurs. Mass-Fri.

Mon.- Spring Concert 1:30.

Tues. - Field trip to Little Red Schoolhouse.  Wear gym uniforms and bring a bag lunch.

Please bring in kleenex

Please make sure your students wear the proper uniform.  They will receive demerits if they do not.  It will also count as a missing assignments if they do not return signed tests the next day.  This is their homework and responsibility.
