                HOMEWORK

 5/2:  Honors: Read chapter 3 of Hiroshima and complete your lit circle tasks.

 5/1:  There will be no more homework for periods 1. 2, and 5.  Honors:  Read chapter 2 of Hiroshima and complete your  literature circle tasks for chapters 1  and 2.

 4/19:  1st period: work on your Odes to a friend,  2nd period:  No Homework, & 5th period:  read the odes and be ready to discuss tomorrow.  Honors:  Read Chapter two of Maus II.

4/18: 1st, 2nd, & 5th periods:  Complete Thinking Critically questions 2-5 on page 655.  Honors: Read chapter one of Maus II and create your reflection journal.

4/17:  1st, 2nd, & 5th periods:  complete the story map using the poem, Paul Revere's Ride.  6th period:  No homework

4/16:  1st, 2nd, & 5th- Revise your ballad and lyric poems rough drafts if necessary.  Those who did not turn in a rough draft of either of those poems will still be responsible for the final draft due Friday, April 20th.  6th period- Complete short answer questions from the Holocaust documentary.

4/4:  None- Have a great weekend.

4/3:  Finsh the classwork on the reading of "The Cremation of Sam McGee."  Then read " The Dying Cowboy" complete the handout on that ballad.   Finally, read Maiden-Savin Sam.

4/2:  Read Valentine for Ernest Mann and complete questions 1-6.  Write the beginning of your lyric poem using the framework at the bottom of page 626.

3/27:  Write a 4-5 page paragraph essay exploring onr of the many themes in The Diary of Anne Frank: The Play.  Complete Vocabulary Lesson 12:  Science & Technology worksheet
