Mrs. Taylor's Page

 In Language Arts we have begun the novel The Watsons Go to Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis. Through this novel we plan to study figurative language such as imagery, metaphors, similes and many other literary terms. We also plan to take a look at the Civil Rights movement in the early 1960's in America through the eyes our main character, Kenny, as we explore his take on everything going on in our country during this time.
