Whats New Mr. M?

So the countdown starts...less then 20 days now your student will be out of the 7th grade and on to the 8th!!

Before that can happen however we must focus on closing the year strongly. We have closed out the month of April and we are on to May. Here are some of the things we will be doing in class.

• Mock Applications
• We will have a close out test for Career planning and a large review for it
• Finals review week starts the 17th
• Finals begin week of the 24th

About me...

Hello Students and Parents,

My Name is Mr. Mathos and this is my first year at Somerset Academy Miramar. I will be teaching Civics and Advanced Civics for 7th Graders. It is my pleasure to be apart of the family here at Somerset and I am looking forward to all the fun we will be having this year.

I am a South Florida native but I attended Florida State University up in Tallahassee. I am also a big fan of the Noles, Dolphins and Heat. The Marlins and Panthers are great too. We will all get to know each other better soon, until then enjoy the site and please check out the links below
