March: What's Going on in the Counselor's Spot!
Pre-K students in Mrs. Usie's class will be talking about the difference between tattling and reporting. Students report when someone is hurt or in danger. However, tattling is when students want to get someone else in trouble. We want students to know the difference so tattling will not be a big issue.
This month first graders are focusing on friendship: how we can make and keep friends. We will also be discussing the need to share our friends with other people and the importance of not bossing them around.
The second grade students will be brushing up on study skills and an introduction to test-taking since they will be taking the IOWA test April 13-16.
