Swinging Into 2nd Grade with Ms. Tepper!

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

I will be HOPEFULLY updating this weekly with spelling words, homework, and any important information that you need to know about.

I would first like to welcome you to my class- I hope to make this year fun and exciting while teaching your children a little bit about everything.                 

*Some important notes*

2. . Classroom wish list: In need of copy paper!! If you wish to donate some to the classroom- please send it in with your child with the receipt so you can get hours. Remember: every $4=1 hour.

3. Book reports will be assigned weekly (unless noted in planner). This will be to help students with their reading comprehension, fluency, and handwriting. This is counted as a reading grade and is due every Friday with your Child's homework.

4. Please be sure to go over your child's homework with them DAILY! If they are not doing their homework- chances are they are not going to do well on their weekly tests.

5. I have started putting a stamp in your child's planner daily to let you know how their behavior is in class. A smiley face= green or yellow. A try again face=blue. A sad face=red! Please be sure you are initialing their planners so I know you are seeing their behavior. Thanks you

6. I will be updating this page weekly to important information, spelling words, homework, and more. Please be sure to check weekly! :)

8. Spelling tests have changed, instead of the usual spelling of just the word, students will be writing a complete sentence and need to make sure to capitalize letters and put punctuation where it needs to be. Sentences also need to make sense.
