Welcome to World Cultures (Social Studies 7)! 2nd Quarter 2009-2010: Current Project: Arab-Israeli Conflict Project - Due before Thanksgiving break! For this project, the students have an option of either completing a posterboard that identifies and analyzes the conflict or to complete a FOUR paragraph writing describing what it would be like to be a teenager growing up in Israeli. PLEASE SEE MR. KLEINOW FOR THE RUBRICS OR REQUEST THEM TO BE E-MAILED so the students will recieve full credit. Current Homework - Students are working on their Religions of SW Asia packet. The packet needs to be completed by November 12th for A-day and was due on the 10th for B-day. Past Projects . Map Project - Students are to create a map that has all the features of a map. Contact Mr. Kleinow for a rubric Due Dates: A-Day-> September 22nd, B-Day -> September 23rd 2. Represent Your Culture Project - Students are to bring in an artifact that represents their culture. Students need to write two paragraphs about what the artifact means to them and how it represents their cultural background. Due Dates: A-Day -> September 18th, B-Day ->September 17th
