Pattern:ABCD patterns.  An ABCD pattern is when you have four different objects and they each take one turn at a time.  Please practice making ABCD patterns with your child at home.

We are going to learn about sealife and summer for the next couple of weeks.  We will discuss the season of summer and what happens during this time of year.  We will also discuss what types of animals live in the ocean.

We have changed plans for Water Day.  We have decided to go on a fieldtrip to Palmetto Island State Park and play on the Splash Pad on Tuesday,May 15.  We will leave school at 8:45 and return around 1:00.  Every student will need to supply a bag lunch for that day.  We need chaperones for this field trip.  You can meet us at school at 8:30 to follow the bus.  Students will need to wear their bathing suits under their school uniform on that day.  Please put sunscreen and insect repellent on your child at home the morning of the field trip.  Please send a beach towel and their lunch in their booksack. 

As soon as we find out when Field Day will be resceduled we will let you know.

Please check and clean out your child's booksack and folder on a daily basis. 

 Important Information: 

Field Trip to Palmetto Island State Park Tuesday, May 15 from 8:45-1:00. 

End of the Year Program will be on Wednesday,May 23, 2012 @ 9:00 in the cafeteria.
