"Welcome to Math on the Seagulls Team!"




Wow!  The year has really been going well.  It is hard to believe that the first quarter has already ended.  We already have three chapters completed.  Chapters 4 and 5 find us working hard on fractions.  Work on homework with your child and encourage him/her to make corrections to graded papers.  I usually give back some of the credit if they are correct.  Please sign all quizzes and tests.  

We have begun work in each class on the "12 Powerful Words". We will do a variety of activities in each class to help your child remember these words in order to help them be more successful on the EOG tests.  Please review these words with your child and help reinforce what is being done at school.  Together, we can make a difference.  (The 12 words are listed at the bottom of the homework.)

I am looking forward to a great year.  If you need me, let me know.



There will be another Early Release Day on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.

There will be no school Wed., Nov. 25th through Fri., Nov. 27th.  This is the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Enjoy time with family and friends.
