5th-12:50-1:45 Math in Rm. 45

6th-1:50-2:52 ELA in Rm. 45

I have a student teacher this semester, Ms. Juliann Fowler, from UNCC. 

In math, we will begin with Pythagorean Theorem on January 26th.  We will then simplify radicals and work with dilations.We will then move to ratios, proportions, and percents.

In ELA, we continue to work with the 12 Powerful Words and UNRAAVEL as we break down EOG reading passages.  We will begin the novel, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton on January 26th. We will be starting a reading log.  Each student will be responsible for out of class reading. Parent signatures will be required.  

Please encourage your child to read, read, read.  Reading is a skill that is so important to your child's success in school.
