5th-12:50-1:45 Math in Rm. 45

6th-1:50-2:52 ELA in Rm. 45

In math, we are working on solving and graphing linear equations.  We will be taking the Benchmark test in early November.  We will be working on combining like terms and distributive property while reviewing material already taught. 

In ELA, we just finished reading the novel Freak the Mighty. We watched the movie and used a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the book with the movie.  We are also working with Wordskills.We will be writing a Character Analysis on a character of the students' choice from Freak the Mighty. 

Please encourage your child to read, read, read.  Reading is a skill that is so important to your child's success in school.
