Gladiatorial Games Ad

DUE: FRIDAY, MAY 25th

 

On your own or with one person and using the information gathered in your Panem et Circenses worksheet, create journal entries for a gladiator OR create a poster advertising the gladiatorial games.

 

Option 1- JOURNAL: Minimum of 5 paragraphs (TYPED); at least a paragraph for each of the following:

-          description of the type of gladiator you are and your training / life

-          a description of the Colosseum where you fight

-          description of the games include the other types of gladiators you fight

-          describe the spectators and their reactions

-          describe the role of the Emperor

 

EXTRA CREDIT – “age” the paper and then turn your journal into a scroll

 

 

 

Option 2 - POSTER: On poster board, create a colorful ad announcing the gladiatorial games.  You should have pictures and a 3-5 sentence description / explanation of each of the following:

-          the types of gladiators

-          the Colosseum

-          gladiatorial combat

-          the Emperor
