Welcome to Exploratory Enrichment (A.K.A. Middle School Leadership)! I am so excited to start the quarter with this small (but mighty) group of school leaders. We have some great lessons planned for the group, and we will be spearheading a number of great schoolwide projects! Our "text" throughout the class will be Everyday Leadership: Attitudes and Actions for Respect and Success. By: Mariam G MacGregor. Schedule for November 1- November 5 Monday, November 1: Leadership Journal. Introductory Card, fill out information sheet, go through class syllabus, make classroom rules and goals. Make a definition of leadership. Tuesday, November 2: Leadership Journal. Tour Guide information, How to lead tours, conduct a mock tour, small group tours. Wednesday, November 3: Leadership Journal. Session Two: Introducing leadership. Thursday, November 4: Leadership Journal. What are some qualities of leadership? Session Three: Introducing Leadership. Friday, November 5: Leadership Journal. Brainstorm areas for improvement around Daniels, and how to make these improvements. Introduce book drive information and Hoops for Heart Projects. |
