I am your child's resource teacher. Please refer to your child's IEP for the subject(s) that he or she has with me. It's great to be back in the saddle for a new school year. If you need to reach me, you can call me at school(892-3636),email(vicki.politte@stpsb.org), or write me a note.



In general, I assign homework on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. I do not give a grade for homework, but I do give Lee Road Bucks for completion of homework.



Your child will receive a homework assignment sheet each Monday. Please check your child's homework folder for this sheet.  Tests are given on Fridays

 First Grade

Reading words-help little very what:  Your child should practice these words each night. Each Friday your child will read these words orally for a grade.

Spelling words-land  sand  fast  list  sink  ant: Spelling tests are given on Fridays.

Math: Please practice number recognition and counting to 100.

Language: We are working on writing simple sentences and capatalizing the beginning of a sentence.  We are also working on months of the year and days of the week.

Second Grade:

Reading Words:America  world  country  write  because  off  live  under  warm  where

Each Friday your child will read these words orally for a test.

Spelling Words:  box  fox  dog  lock  pot  cone  hope  rose  poke  rope  side  nine:

Spelling tests are on Fridays.
