  • Finish "Making Connections with Density" handout. You may need to conduct research to answer some of the questions. You may use the internet as a resource.

  • Finish the density problems handout we started in class. You will need your density chart to complete this assignment.

  • Complete the structure of the earth graphic organizer using information from classnotes as well as the textbook.

  • Study for quiz on Wed, 10/14 on Earth's Interior
  • You may use your classnotes, earth's interior graphic organizer, and text book pages 124-130 to study

  • Read pages 136-140 in your text book. The section is entitled "Drifting Continents"

  • Finish the Drifting Continents packet

Due Wed, 10/21

  • Finish reading the article "Alfred Wegener and the Origin of an Idea" and answer the 4 article questions.

Due Fri, 10/23

  • Finish the sea-floor spreading handout

  • Finish sea floor spreading lab questions

Due Thur, 10/29

  • Finish Plate Tectonics Article questions and study for Friday's quiz on Continental Drift (to study for this quiz...you can reread pages 136-140 in the textbook, study your graphic organizer for the theory of continental drift, reread your Wegener article and go over your classnotes.
