Dear Parents,

      Your child's homework folder will be brought home every night.  Please be sure to remove all papers. All  homework should be checked before being signed and returned the following school day.

    Homework for the week of Nov.2,2009

   Reading: 

   Tues.- vocabulary  words to be written on index cards and studied through the week-- who,no,some,of,eat

              workbook- p.52

              read-" Little Red Hen" throughout the week.

    Thurs.- comprehension assessment

    Fri.-cold read assessment

   Spelling:

   Mon.- words to be studied through the week--leg,men,let,hop,who,beg,hen,get,hot,some

   by Tues.- words are to be written in abc order (bring in notebook)

   by Thurs.- words are to be written in sentences (bring in notebook)

   Fri.- spelling assessment

   Math:

   We will be working on subtraction to 12 in vertical and horizontal form. 

   Mon.-p.33-34

   Tues.-p.35-36

   Wed.-p.37-38

   Thurs.-p.39-40

        Penmanship:

  Please stress the importance of neat and accurate penmanship in all your child's written work.
