Dear Parents,

     All homework  should be signed and any mistakes should be corrected.  Friday folders should be reviewed thoroughly.  Remember, this an indication of how your child is doing in school.   Please make sure to sign and return the Friday Folder on Monday morning.

Please make sure to check your child's homework folder nightly as all homework and important papers will be in it.

When the brown envelopes are sent home, please remove the contents and return the envelope.  This is the way all important communication is sent home.

Reading

We are beginning the fourth of 6 books we will read in first grade. It is very important that vocabulary words are reviewed nightly.  I suggested at open house and also in a letter that flash cards be made with the vocabulary words on them.  Several children do not have these.  It is for your child's benefit that these cards be made and reviewed nightly.
