 After school meetings:

TBA

ALL STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AFTER SCHOOL MEETINGS ALTHOUGH ATTENDANCE IS NOT MANDATORY.

DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE AMOUNT OF HISTORY THAT MUST BE COVERED IN THIS CLASS, AP STUDENTS MUST MEET AFTER SCHOOL IN ORDER TO PREPARE FOR THE NATIONAL EXAM COMING THIS MAY OF 2010.

STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE EXTRA CREDIT FOR PARTICIPATING FROM 2:45 TO 3:45PM.  AND ALTHOUGH YOU MAY ARRIVE LATE OR LEAVE EARLY TO GET THE MOST FROM THE AFTER SCHOOL SESSIONS, A STUDENT WILL NOT RECEIVE THE EXTRA CREDIT UNLESS THEY ARE THERE ENTIRELY PRESENT FROM 2:45 TO 3:45.

note about test dates and make ups:  ALL students who do not take the test as scheduled will not receive a "class curve". Meaning that the test will be graded as a regular rubric percentage grade .

Also, all students should make up the test the next day they report to class.  However, those who do not take the test on the given test date MUST make it up within 7 days (or less).  You may take the make up during class, during another period (provided your teacher approves of this) or early in the morning (if you decide to take it in the morning email me to let me know, I am usually in class as early as 6:45 am)

AGAIN, YOU MAY STILL ATTEND EVEN IF YOU CANT MAKE IT ON TIME OR IF YOU MUST LEAVE EARLY.  BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT THESE AFTER SCHOOL SESSIONS ARE VITAL TO SUCCEEDING IN THE NATIONAL EXAM.

AS SUGGESTED BEFORE AND REPEATEDLY,  ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO EMAIL ME CONCERNING THE CLASS OR STUDENTS' ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE.  PLEASE REGISTER ON THE "NOTIFY ME" LIST TO RECEIVE EMAILS EVERYTIME IMPORTANT INFORMATION IS ADDED TO THIS WEBSITE.
