Welcome to the Wonderful World of KindergartenDear Parents, Thank you, Parents and Grandparents, for making our Apple Fest a tremendous success! Your c children should be very proud of themselves. Their efforts made an abundant donation to St. John’s food pantry. Thank you again for your continued support and assistance. I hope you had a BOO-tiful Halloween! I’m sure you didn’t let a few drizzles upset your day! Could it be that we are having a quiet week? Yes! Other than watching our prayer partners perform on Thursday afternoon, we will be back on track and following a normal routine. We will attend First Friday Mass with our prayer partners this week followed by a 12:00 dismissal. Our new highlighted letter this week will be the letter /Tt/. As we build our Word Wall, our new high-frequency word this week will be /go/. We will also be adding our color words and shape words. Patterning continues in Math. We have run into a few glitches, we will review and continue to build patterns until mid-week before moving onto Chapter 3-Positions. Discussions in Religion will center around how SPECIAL we are to God and our family and friends. As we begin November, we will begin looking at our first Thanksgiving. Mini-units on our Native Americas and the Pilgrims will be introduced. This past week we put together a classroom newpaper. I am checking into how to reduce our chart paper so that I am able to make copies to share. Everyone gave their imput. A few girls and boys have asked to draw pictures! We'll see how it goes! Have a WONDERFUL week! Sincerely, Mrs. Carol Berls
