Welcome to Wonderful World of Kindergarten
Dear Parents, BRAVO! What a WONDERFUL performance by your little STARS! They put on a wonderful show. Thank you for your support in teaching your child their nursery rhyme and for your creativity with their costume and props. A SPECIAL thank you for attending our Book Fair, having you visit for a short time really makes their day. Happy Valentine’s Day a weekend early. Many fun activities are planned for our Valentine’s Day celebration on Friday, February 12th. Graphing candy hearts, reading valentine stories and sharing valentines with our friends are sure to add some extra FUN to our day! We can’t forget our 100th Day celebration on Thursday, February 18th. It’s hard to believe that we have made it to the half way point. The past few months that I have spent with your child have passed quickly. I have many more activities planned that I hope the children will enjoy. This week you will receive a food item request to add to our 100th Day trail mix. Please have your child count out 100 pieces of their requested food item. Send in their SPECIAL addition in zip lock bag or container. All treats will be mixed to make a DELICIOUS and UNIQUE class-made snack mix. I am also anxious to see your child’s 100 piece collections. Since last week was such a BUSY week, why not bring letter /B/ and our high-frequency word /this/ back for an encore. We will also add onto our rhyming wall by adding the -ad family. We will continue on in Math highlighting on numbers beyond 20. Our Weekly Reader and National Geographic Magazine will the focus of our Social Studies and Science units. Have a GREAT week!
