WELCOME to the WONDERFUL WORLD of KINDERGARTEN Dear Parents, Welcome to a shortened week followed by an extended Memorial Day weekend! Please remember there is no school on Friday or Monday and Tuesday of next week. Isn't it nice to have a snow day in May! Our new letter of the week will be /Q/ and our new high-frequency word will be /my/. We will finish our unit on Money this week. Our next Math unit will be on Time. Graduation practice is in full swing. I just checked the calendar and there are only 14 days of school left! This year passed too quickly. Please make sure to attend our PFG meeting this week, you will be given your child's Terra Nova scores. If you are unable to attend, please send in a note requesting your child's scores to be sent home. I am very pleased with our class' scores. Your children have worked very hard. This past week your child brought home a learning program to try at home. It is called "Reading Eggs". I have tested each child and they have been placed on their appropriate level. The few children who were absent will be tested this week. They are having fun and they are learning and reinforcing their reading skills too! Have a Wonderful week.
