Welcome Back! Tuesday, September 2, 2008 Here's hoping that your Labor Day was restful. I have sent home book order forms with each block...please consider placing an order (you have until September 15, 2008) to submit the orders to the school. Blocks 1 & 3: P. 1 in the GUM workbook should be complete Block 5: Students took a comprehensive grammar pre-assessment and will be issued their GUM workbooks tomorrow. For this evening, they should read 20 minutes independently so they can be ready for their first independent reading projects. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Blocks 1 & 3: Complete vocabulary model. Block 5: Complete vocabulary model; respond to "The Pig" by Roald Dahl using the dialectical journal format, and complete the BCR for "The Man Who Had No Eyes." August 26, 2008 Students need to:
