Congratulations!  34 members were selected to participate in H.E.L.P. 

for the 2009-2010 school year.  The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday,

October 9, 2009 from 4:05-4:35 pm in Ms. Lostumbo's room.

The H.E.L.P. Club at Glades Middle School is sponsoring a 
Harvest Canned Food Drive this year! Glades Middle and 
Everglades High School will be collecting canned foods, as well 
as additional items, to feed 50-75 families in our community. 
Below is a list of suggestions that are acceptable for
donations. Students are to bring their donations to their first 
period class.The class with the most donations will receive 
a complimentary breakfast.
 
The Canned Food Drive begins Monday, October 12th and 
ends Tuesday,November 17th, 2009. On November 19th, 
the families will come to the Glades Middle Cafeteria to 
"shop" for items that can be used in their homes.
 
Suggestions for Donations:
Apple Juice (plastic bottles) 
Aluminum Foil
Canned vegetables 
Pancake Mix
Canned sweet potatoes 
Pancake Syrup
Canned gravy
