Welcome to Overton! 
Where YOUcan be a SUPERHERO in Music!




Welcome Back!

             2011-2012              
This is going to be a great year of music at Overton!
I am scheduled at Overton Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Each week, I will post our learning objectives and activities
so you will know what is happening in music class.


I will also post musical opportunities in and out of school
for students' and parents' information.


Here are some opportunities already available:

*Catawba Community Music Program*
All types of lessons and a Children's Chorus!

*After-School Strings*
Look for information to come home in the next couple of weeks.



    5th Grade   
Recorder orders are due Sept. 6!
Forms have been sent home
(or will be on the 1st day of school).
If you have an instrument already,
you do not have to order another one.
Please do not purchase one from the Dollar Store.
We'll talk about that in class.
