 Welcome to third grade!

Today was the pretest for spelling.  The final test will be Friday.  There will not be a spelling test next week because of Thanksgiving weekend.

We will have a science quiz Friday, November 20.  The review sheet should be in the homelink folder by Thursday. PLEASE KEEP THIS PAPER IN THE FOLDER so the third graders can review at home and at school.  The quiz will be a fill in the blank with words from a word bank.  The students will also need to know two differences between an insesct and a spider.  We have reviewed several times this week and will continue to review next week too.

A new set of book reports should be in the homelink folder.  This set is due Monday, November 30.  The students are to read three 60page books and do a report for each book.  If you have not signed and returned the reminder, please return Friday.

Please check the homework listed in the planner and sign the planner AFTER the assignments have been completed.

Autumn has arrived, please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the weather, as we will be going outside for recess, weather permitting.
