Spelling pretest was Monday.  Final test will be Friday. There is an additional word - WORD WIZARD WORD!!   Each week I will assign a new vocabulary/spelling word to the whole class.  It will be written in the planner on Thurs. or Fri.  They are to write the definition in the planner, use the word in conversation with me, and spell the word correctly on final spelling test.  If they meet all 3 criterias they will receive a reward. Great job on the Word Wizard Word!  Last week there was 100% participation!  Keep up the good work!! 

Beginning this week 3rd graders will be receiving a letter grade on some of their work, beginning with the spelling test this week.  This is in preparation for 4th grade.

Attention:  There should be an invitation to our Poetry Tea in the homelink folder today.  Please check the date and return the reply card as soon as possible.  We look forward to seeing everyone June 4!
