Dear Parents:

Due to low attendance on Monday, the early closing of school on Tuesday, and our field trip on Friday, the lesson plans for the week have been revised.  We will not read a new story in Reading but will instead work on iLeap review activities during Reading/Language Arts time.  Students will not have Reading, Language Arts or Spelling tests this week.  They will have a science test on Unit A-Chapter 3-Lesson 2 pages A70-A75 on Thursday.  Students will be tested Thursday on their knowledge of the states and state capitals of the southeast and northeast regions.

Students received an assignment for a book report due on Friday, March 5th.  Please encourage them to read during their Mardi Gras holiday so that they can begin this book report.

Just a reminder that our class will be going on our field trip to Global Wildlife Center this Friday,February 12th

Please be reminded that graded papers folders go home each Tuesday afternoon.  If your child failed to turn in a required assignment, a note will be attached to their folder. Please review their graded papers, keep the graded papers, sign the folder and return.  Also, at the end of each week, please review your child’s behavior log in the back of their agenda, sign and return.
