9/3/2009 All Geometry: Since we will be spending a school year studying geometry, it would be interesting to see a variety of "geometric objects" for our first full class. Please find something at home about which you can explain some geometry. For example, you might bring in something cylindrical or spherical or even a newspaper article that has something to do with shapes. Since everything has geometry, this should not take you very long. You will be expected to show it to the class, say a few words, and present me with a paragraph or so about your selection. This is not intended to be some massive project.
