READING LOG
Parents: We have just got our feet wet into each subject area. I want to explain the reading log, which, goes from Tuesday to Tuesday. Every Tuesday I will collect the student's log looking to see that they read at least 4 nights that total to at least 90mins. Each night they read you need to sign their log and they have to answer a question from their list of 23 options. Students can read every night and more than 90mins!!!!

Punch Cards
Every week students get a chance to earn a homework pass. At the end of each class students will earn a punch on their card for following guidelines; however we mark on the space if they lost the punch. Students most earn at least 80% of their punches to have a homework pass (not used on reading log or new math concepts). Each quarter the percentages rise on punch cards. If your student loses the homework pass the punch card is sent home to be signed.
Marking you might find:
OT: Off Task
TLK: Talking
UNP: Unprepared- missing materials
BEH: behavior or Bounce

Quick Points of Interest:
* Always sign agendas at night*
* Shirt Must be tucked in at all times*
*Belt must be worn if belt loops exist*
*Any highlights in the agenda means missing work!*
