~ There will be no memorizing of a May Poem this month.  Because we are studying the Rosary, each student will be required to memorize and recite to me the Fatima Prayer and Hail, Holy Queen.  These prayers of the the Rosary were in the Friday Folders. PRAYERS MUST BE RECITED BY MAY 31!

~Please send in 2 blue grocery bags with your child for end of year!

~We are out of wipes again!!!  If you could donate any for our end of year clean up, that would be wonderful and GREATLY appreciated!

  • What the highlighting on the report means:
  1. Quizzes Taken/Passed - this lets you know how many quizzes your child has taken and how many they have passed.  
  2. Questions (%) - this tells you the average % of questions your child is answering correctly.  THIS SHOULD BE IN THE UPPER 80's AT LEAST!
  3. ATOS BL - this is the average book level your child is selecting.  For example, 3.7 means third grade, seventh month.

MATH FACTS

It is mandatory that each student has their math facts memorized by the end of third grade.  Studying math facts is part of your child's homework EVERY night.  The way in which they study them is up to you.  Each child learns differently, so whatever works best for them should be how they study.

All incorrect and missed facts are to be written 10 times each.  If your child has more than twenty facts missing or incorrect, he or she may write twenty facts 10 times each.

Your child has 4 minutes to complete 100 facts in each of +, -, and x
