Mrs. Stec- Second Grade Week of November 9-13, 2009 Please label all coats and especially shoes so there will not be a mix up. Thank You. Just a few reminders.................
Monday – Food drive this week! Bring in can goods. Tuesday- swim today; bring your suits and towels Library today; return books Wednesday- – No school today. Conferences Thursday Friday- Mass today, don’t forget your ties Please check the website often for any changes in homework under "Additions to this week...."
Language Arts This week we will be reading and discussing fables. . Our spelling words are words with a final k and ck. Our vocabulary words will be high-frequency words and verbs. In English we will be revising sentences. Language Arts folders will be sent home Monday, to be returned Tuesday. Please remember your reading charts for Monday too. Math This week we will skip count by 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10’s. We will also order numbers and use ordinal numbers. Religion We will learn about the Holy Spirit. Social Studies We will differentiate between natural and synthetic resources.
