February 6, 2010 We had a wonderful time last week participating in all the Catholic Schools' Week activities. It certainly was a busy week. Brown Envelopes went home last week. Please return the envelope as soon as possible. If you haven't returned your textbook forms and/or progress reports, please do so immediately. Remember, the fifth grade began Health last week. Please be sure your child has a notebook for this class. We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, 2/12. Children may bring valentines for their classmates if they wish. Our classmoms will take care of sending in a special treat. Monday, February 15 is Presidents' Day. There is no school that day. Misc. Notes **Health has begun. Students need a notebook for Health class. **No school on Monday, February 15. **Valentine's Day celebration on Friday, 2/12 **Scholastic Book orders due by Thursday, 2/11 **Friday Folders usually go home on Friday. Please review all papers enclosed. We ask that you sign/initial each paper AND sign the outside of the folder. All papers are then kept on file in the classroom. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO RETURN THESE FOLDERS/PAPERS ON MONDAY. **Students are told in advance about tests. Please encourage them to study in advance, not wait until the night before a test. **Access codes were given out for student to access reading textbooks online.
