The 8th graders in m.1 will complete their work on operations with polynomials. There will be a quiz on Thurs., 5/10 on multiplying polynomials.
The 8th graders in m.3 will begin Ch. 10 on operations with polynomials. There will be a quiz on Chs. 10.1 - 10.3 on Fri., 5/11.
In Religion,we will begin Ch. 12, Praying for Christ's Healing.

In Literature, the students have begun reading the novel,Lyddie. The story takes place during the American Industrial Revolution, which coincides with the time period the 7th graders are studying in Social Studies.
The seventh graders in m.7 are continuing their work on 3-dimensional figures. They will also begin work on surface area and volume of solids.
There will be a quiz on finding the surface area and the volume of cylinders and prisms on Thurs., 5/10.
The 7th graders in m.8 will continue to work on polynomials.  There will be an assessment on Thurs., 5/10.
