This week is National Homeless Awarenees Week.  We are asking the students to bring in canned goods, soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste.  Please turn in these items to Ms. Arrondo in Office 3.

PLEASE SEE BELOW "Access to the gradebook", there is a new way to log into the parent/student viewing portal. There is a problem with signing into the Parent and Student Portal for the gradebook. I will inform you once the problem is corrected.

Go to:  www.dadeschools.net

Click on Students (red tab)

Click on Resource tab (middle of the page)

Click on Riverdeep PreK-12 (Bottom right of page)

Username: Your Student ID

Password:  Your Student ID

Click on GO next to the activity name

Listen to the Tutorial (make sure the volume is up)

Complete the activities for the lesson prior to the due date

ACCESS TO THE GRADEBOOK:

Parents and students can get into the gradebook as a student.

They have to go first to:

www.dadeschools.net

Click on the Students tab

Click on Login to Portal (red)

Click on Login to Student Portal (green)


User name type: student ID (7 digits)

Password:  Last Name's first initial (CAPITAL LETTER) and the student ID

Example:  Chris Martin ID#1234567

Log in:  1234567

Password:  M1234567

If you are having difficulty acessing the gradebook online, reset your password.

If you continue to have problems signing onto the portal, let me know so that a HEAT Self Service incident with the student's ID and a summary of the problem can be submitted.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE QUIZZES FOR EXTRA CREDIT:

1.Go to lesson resources

2.Click on Self Check Quizzes - FCAT

3.Click on By Lesson

4.Click on the desired Chapter

5.Click on the desired Lesson

6.Complete the quiz online

7.Check the quiz online

8.Print the results (when printing, you may go to preferences and choose to print the results in black and white in order to save on colored ink)

9.A parent/guardian MUST SIGN the front page of the results to ensure completion of each quiz. Please staple each quiz individually.


If there is a problem with printing the results, copy down the results on a sheet of paper and have it signed by a parent or legal guardian.


ONLY QUIZZES BASED ON THE SECTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN COVERED IN CLASS DURING THE CURRENT NINE WEEK PERIOD WILL BE ACCEPTED!!


PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME THE RESULTS!
