News Notes:

·       Two book reports for February will be due on Tuesday, February 28.  After those reports are in, students may ask me for a reading journal in which to record responses to other books.  The pages read for journal work will also count for our class total.

·       Speaking of the total pages read, as of today, our class has read 14,595 pages!

·       The 4th grade individual report on a mission is due this Wednesday.

·       I would appreciate it if you would check your child’s book reports for spelling errors before you sign them.  Thanks!

·       Some of our girls’ skirts are getting too short because they’re growing.  Please take a look and see what you think.

·       Our public library in town is celebrating being open one year.  There will be special activities on February 16 starting at 3:00.

·       If you haven’t sent in the permission slip and money for Old Town State Park, please do so as soon as you can.  Thanks!

News Notes:

·       Both January book reports are due tomorrow.

·       We will be going to the public library right afterlunch on Friday.  Please be sure thatyour child brings books that must be returned and that I have his or herlibrary card if new books are to be checked out.

·       If you can drive for Friday’s library visit,please let me know.

·       Our offerings for chapel are going to feed the homeless in San Diego.  The children did a great job making sandwiches for them last Friday.

·       Don’t forget to return the permission form and money for our class trip to Old Town State Park.

News Notes:

·       What great runners our students are!  Everyone did a great job at our school Jog-a-thon, blessing our school.

·       Our next trip to the public library will be on Friday, February 3, from 12:45-1:45.  If you would be able to drive, please let me know.  Also, please help your child keep track of the books he or she checked out last time.

·       Please remind your child to check his or her assignment book each day to avoid late homework.

·       The two January book reports are due on Tuesday,January 31.

·       3rd Grade Students must bring back their home reading text because we are off to new book.  3rd Graders will be bringing home this new home copy today.
