Homework for Second Grade Room 314

SPELLING/READING: We are continuing our reading story from last week, Around The Pond.  Since we have a short week, we won't be having a new list of Spelling words, but instead we will be doing some independent practice in class.

ENGLISH: On Tuesday, complete the Guide Words worksheet for homework.

MATH:
There will be no homework for Monday. Try to earn stickers on First in Math!
Tuesday: Do Check your Progress A on page 133 for homework. This will be collected for a grade.
Wednesday: No homework!

RELIGION: We finished our chapter on Confirmation last week and a test was given on Thursday. We are now discussing the seasons of the Church Year and celebrating the whole mystery of Christ.

SCIENCE: Our chapter on Weather continues. We will be starting to learn about storms and other types of dangerous weather patterns over the next week. No homework will be assigned for this week.

Remember to return your new field trip permission slips by December 4. Cost is $4.00
Be sure to bring in your November Book It forms!
Room 314 will be be shopping at Santa's Holiday Shop on Tuesday, December 1st. Students may bring money on that day to shop for family and friends.
