We are nearing the end of the year and it will soon be time for students to take SOL end-of-course tests.  All of my students will need to take the English Reading and the U.S. History SOL tests.  We are doing some practice tests in English class.  Students should also read over history notes in preparation for this test.  There are several sites online where students may take practice test.

Today is the last day of this six weeks.  The students have six more weeks to improve their grades.  Encourage your student to complete all assignments and to study for tests.  This will be both a fun time of year with many activities, but also an important time to prepare for SOL's and exams.  Encourage them to start preparing now.
