Happy New Year! Grades K-8 will now be playing floor hockey in phys.ed. classes. During Catholic Schools Week, the 5th grade will participate in a one day floor hockey tournament.
The Physical Education program (Pre-K -8th grade) provides each student with the opportunity to develop and maintain a suitable level of physical fitness. Pre K - 1 Basic skills are taught and emphasized through organizational games, exercises, relays and sport activities Grade 2 - 8 Good mastery of basic skills and game strategies are concentrated at each level The PE uniform is the only attire permitted for PE class. If your child does not have a PE uniform, please send a note to the office requesting a form. The 1st 9 weeks students will be engaged in the following sports/activities: Mat Ball, Football and Ultimate Frisbee Grade System Pre-School: Gross Motor Skills G-Good Progress W-Working on Skill Kindergarten: Gross Motor Skills B-Beginning Skill D-Developing Skill P- Sucess in Skill Grades 1 - 8 : O-Outstanding G-Good S-Satisfactory U-Unsatisfactory Basis for Grades: 1.
