I hope everyone is enjoying this winter wonderland by building snow forts, having snowball fights and helping mom and dad shovel. As you all know we are expected to get more snow accumulation tonight into tomorrow, so I thought I'd assign a bunch of school work in case anyone was getting bored....just kidding. Just a couple of reminders though, whenever we do get back to school, we will have the prescheduled math, spelling and vocabulary (blue book) test noted below. If you would like to practice for the math test or just play some math games, please go to the Houghton Mifflin website at eduplace.com/kids/mw. They have lots of fun activities to keep you busy. The upcoming math test will be on Chaps 9.4 and chap 10.3, 10.4, 10.6 and 10.8). The vocabulary test will be on review units 5-8 and spelling test on unit 18 which is a review unit as well. Pace yourselves to study a little each day (maybe when your drinking your hot chocolate with whipped cream...yummy!) If you would like to work ahead in spelling, you can work on unit 19. It will save you some homework on the week we return to school.
