Wednesday, February16: - 15 minute class discussion of last night’s Q2 prompt - Act 5 discussion (if needed) - begin wrap-up of KingLear (if we finish Act 5)
Thursday February 17: - M-C #3B due - discussion of themes & motifs in King Lear (bring notes) - wrap-up of King Lear - distribution of paper topics for Heart of Darkness, as well as note packet.
Friday February 18: - Q2 2005 essay explication, typed, double spaced, .7margins, 12 point font, name = the best birthday gift you ever received - Q&A (if any) regarding your paper topics for Heartof Darkness - read all intro notes on Heart of Darkness, including the Xerox notes packet and bookintro (p.1-14) by Joyce Carol Oates (a quiz, perhaps?) - look for papertopic quotes and examples as you read.
