Stories By The Millstream
2nd Grade The second classes at Knollwood will be visiting Sloan Park for Rowan County's "Stories By the Millstream". Every year story tellers from throughout the United States come to share with us interesting and funny stories that celebrate childhood experiences. Attached are activities that will help teachers prepare students understanding the history and importance of oral storytelling. These activities not only prepare students for the experience, but they also teach students skills from the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for reading and writing.
