February 9, 2012 Summary of our day: Students took the adverb test today! We also responded to a prompt in our writer's notebook that asked us to describe a perfect pizza. We shared what we wrote. We made cards for fire fighters and police officers for character education this month. Students also learned a little background information on Lewis and Clark since that is our chorus performance this year. Lastly, we did a Sudoku mind puzzle. Some students had music lessons today as well. Homework: Read for 20 minutes each night. Spelling- test tomorrow! Study the booklet that you made on famous African Americans. We will have our "quiz" on these famous people on Wednesday. Current Events: AM class- J.K., S.T., R.F. PM class - C.T., N.W., S.Y. Due on Friday. |
