Things are moving along in third grade.  We had some problems but we hope that with parents help we will see things get better.

Our writing is coming along.  We are writing about memories of places they have had experiences.  We started with writing about people they had done things with.  Our writing will mostly be about personal narratives this year.

We have a fun field trip coming up next week. We are going on a walking tour of Salisbury.  We will visit some interesting places such as the library, courthouse,  city hall, and the Rowan Museum.  We hope the weather will be good.

Open house is on Sept. 24th.  We hope you will come see some of the children's writing and some other things that we have done in our class. The tail gate party sounds like fun also.

The children now have goals for their accelerated reading so we hope they will all work hard and meet their ar goals.  I have some ar books in my room, the library has plenty and you can also go to the public library and check out ar books.  Let's go TEAM!
