![]() Welcome to Second Grade! ![]() Miss Jacobs Mrs. Fesperman Mrs. Hinson ![]() March Notes: - We are working hard to get back into the swing of a regular week after all those snow days. Remind your child that paying attention in class, doing their homework, and following directions are all part of them getting to 3rd grade successfully. - Remember to sign and return your child's planner (agenda book) each night. - Students will receive their spelling words Monday, which means your child has an assignment every night. - Students will receive their Superstar Math sheets and Math Facts. Work on the Superstar Math during the week and turn in on Friday. Study Math Facts for test Friday. - Your child will bring home new math facts for the next couple of weeks until they have all been covered. Please keep the flash cards they make at school because they will be tested on any of the math facts we have covered from the entire year. - 3rd quarter AR goals have been set and your child's level and points goal were sent home. Please remember that reading at least 20 minutes a night is important, not only to meet that AR goal, but to succeed in life! Students should be taking at least 3 tests a week. Students have homework every night and are responsible for completing it and turning it in each day. ![]() Daily Schedule: 7:30 - 8:10 Unpack, Morning Work 8:20 - 9:00 Enhancements 9:00 - 9:15 Snack/Bathroom 9:15 - 10:15 Writing 10:15 - 11:20 Reading/Centers 11:25 - 11:55 Lunch 12:00 - 12:30 Recess 12:45 - 1:45 Math 1:45 - 2:20 Social Studies/Science 2:20 - 2:30 Pack-up Enhancement Schedule Monday - Art Tuesday - Music Wednesday - P.E.
