November Notes:

- Remember to sign and return your child's planner (agenda book) each night.

- Students will receive their spelling words Monday, which means your child has an assignment every night.

- Students will receive their Superstar Math sheets and Math Facts. Work on the Superstar Math during the week and turn in on Friday. Study Math Facts for test Friday.

- Second quarter for Accelerated Reader has begun, so remind your child to read at least 20 minutes a night so they can begin taking tests (at least 3 a week) and earning points for this quarter.

- Report Cards will come home Tuesday, November 10th. Review these, and keep them for your reference. Sign, date and return the gray envelope they come home in.

- No School Wednesday, November 11th, in honor of Veteran's Day.

- Cookie Dough sales have begun. Help your child to make sales to support our school and win prizes.

Daily Homework Schedule:

Monday
Complete spelling worksheet.
Write math facts 2 times each.
Work on Superstar Math.

Tuesday
Spelling words in ABC order.
Sign and return Report Card envelope.
Work on Superstar Math.

Wednesday
Choose 6 spelling words and write a good second grade sentence with each.
Put math facts into fact families.
Work on Superstar Math.

Thursday
Study for your test tomorrow (spelling and math facts).
Finish Superstar Math to turn in tomorrow.
