Students: After the announcements are read, members of the book fair crew are to report to the library for their yearbook picture.

In the classic game version of Chutes and Ladders there were actually ten slides.  Lauren Wilson correctly answered this question, and she is our game board trivia winner.  Today at lunch is our last contest.

What would you do for reading?  We challenged you to earn two thousand AR points before the end of the book fair, and you have met our challenge.  As of Wednesday at noon our students had passed that mark.  To celebrate each grade will have one designated day without homework.  Your teachers will decide which day that is, so enjoy your no homework day!

 Have you brought your can of food yet? When you get home put one in your back pack to remind yourself to bring a can for the food drive!

 On Friday, November 20th let's show our school spirit and "paint" the school maroon and white by wearing Unity colors.  It's a big weekend -- 7th grade girls' regional’s, 7th and 8th grade boys' basketball, and Unity High School's playoff game.

Mrs. Carroll is offering another Artists' Workshop on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.  This activity will be working with clay.  The Workshop begins at 3:00 and ends at 4:00 p.m.  Please be sure that you have a ride home.

Fuel Up to Play 60 meeting Thursday Nov. 19^th   3:00 – 3:45.

Student Council will meet AFTER school on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 3-4.  Have your rides ready!

Amy Barnes will be performing at Illinois Music Educators Association on the campus of Illinois State University Saturday. Amy will be performing with the Junior Division Band on clarinet. She was selected from among students from over 40 area schools.  Her concert is at 2:30pm at Braden Auditorium in the Bone Student Center at ISU.
