The tests need to be made up after school so they do not miss any more class instruction time. Please make sure your child has a note allowing them to stay after school to make up a test on the appropriate day with instructions regarding dismissal after the test. If the test is not made up within the allowable time-frame, they will receive a zero on the test. If there are extenuating circumstances, please let me know. If a student is absent and needs to make up the classroom activity, they will need to stay after school. After school labs will be done on Mondays from 2:45-3:30. Please send a note to allow your child to stay with instructions regarding dismissal at 3:30. We are doing all of our science work in a science journal and a science packet. When we are finished with the packet, it will be graded and sent home for you to see. I would like the students to put the packet back into their folder and keep it there for the remainder of the investigations as each packet builds on the one before. The journal is collected and graded periodically. Please check the journal periodically for grades, comments, and missing work notations. |
