”Bienvenidos a las noticias españolas!

Dear Parents: 

   Please remind students of the new  homework policy for this year.  Any homework assigned for the following week will be worth 20 pts.  If it is not handed in on the day of class, the student will have the very next day of school to hand in the assignment for 10 pts.  Anything later will not be accepted.

3rd grade: We will continue to review food in Spanish.  We will     a quiz next week.

 4 th grade: We will continue to go over Spanish common expressions.

5th grade:  We are learning how to tell timw in Spanish.

6th grade:  Me gusta/no me gusta project were sent home to be signed. Spanish country projects will be graded and sent home Thursday Feb. 9.

 7th grade:   We are finishing Capitulo 3.  Homework pages due Tuesday Feb. 7.

8th grade:  Studentswill be having a quiz on verbs that end in er on Thursday Feb 9th. I will have a review session during lunch recess on Wednesday for any one needing help.

Homework for Spanish classes will often be assigned in grades 3-8.  Homework will never be assigned in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. All updates to schoolnotes will be made weekly.

Spanish classes are scheduled to meet on the following days:

 Mondays - Grades K and 1

 Tuesdays  - Grades 7 and 5

 Wednesday - Grades 3 and 2

 Thursdays -  Grades 8 and 6

 Fridays - Grade 4

 Important Note:

Students, please remember to have all Spanish supplies in school on the day of your Spanish class.  Based on grade level, supplies will include: Spanish folder containing: your name tag, copybook, worksheets, homework, and your Spanish book (grades 6-8.)  It is very important that students and parents do not permanently remove any Spanish papers from the Spanish folders unless asked to do so. Thank you.
