Dear Parents: Please remind students of the new homework policy for this year. Any homework assigned for the following week will be worth 20 pts. If it is not handed in on the day of class, the student will have the very next day of school to hand in the assignment for 10 pts. Anything later will not be accepted. 3rd grade: Students will be having a quiz on family members in Spanish on May 23rd. 4th grade: Students will be getting back their family member quiz this Friday. We are learning household items in Spanish. Homework is page 58. 5th grade: Students will be having a quiz on the ar-verb meaning on Tuesday, May 22nd. We will continue to conjugate ar-verbs in class. 6th grade: Students have been learning the Spanish verb ir and estar. We will continue to review this two verbs. Students will have a quiz on May31. 7th grade: Students will be having a quiz on the verb tener on May 22nd. 8th grade: Student will continue to work on various Cultural Lecturas in Class. _______________________________ Homework for Spanish classes will often be assigned in grades 3-8. Homework will never be assigned in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. All updates to schoolnotes will be made weekly. ____________________________ Spanish classes are scheduled to meet on the following days: Mondays - Grades K and 1 Tuesdays - Grades 7 and 5 Wednesday - Grades 3 and 2 Thursdays - Grades 8 and 6 Fridays - Grade 4 _________________________________ Important Note: Students, please remember to have all Spanish supplies in school on the day of your Spanish class. Based on grade level, supplies will include: Spanish folder containing: your name tag, copybook, worksheets, homework, and your Spanish book (grades 6-8.) It is very important that students and parents do not permanently remove any Spanish papers from the Spanish folders unless asked to do so.
