Hi!! Welcome back to another great gifted school year. Lots of challenging activities being planned. Hope we have time to do them all!!!. Classes will begin the week of 8/22/11. An information letter was sent.

Our first areas of study will be a weekly review of Constitutional amendments and the stock market, the Outer Banks and lighthouses; and as always, critical thinking, creative problem solving and right/left brain activities.  There's always time for Chess!!!East County Library offers open chess time on Mondays at 4pm.

Supplies for this year:

2 non-mechanical pencils

1 set of colored pencils

pocket folder

composition notebook

looseleaf paper

erasers

planner - if home class uses one

AR or other book for reading.
