Welcome for the 2010/2011 School Year!

Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the SPED PreK program at MLGES and introduce myself! I am Mrs. Brenda King and this is my sixth year teaching students at Mamie Lou Gross Elementary School.

I have worked with special needs children for the past 25 years. I very much love my work and strive for student growth and independence. We work on functional academics in my classroom including fine and gross motor skills as well as cognitive academics and social skills. We maintain IEP's on each student and follow IEP goals and objectives. You will receive progress reports on your student's progress in the program every 41/2 weeks.
