ParentResource of the Month Thefollowing card decks are available for check out in the Parent Resource Centeror in the Guidance Office. They promote conversation and interaction betweenvarious groups.

Absences: Please notify the school office by telephoneif your child is going to be absent as early as possible. Please remember to leave the student’s name,grade, and reason for the absence, symptoms and your name/relationship to thestudent. Late Arrival:Students may sign themselves in up to 7:40am. Parents must accompany the student and sign them in if arrival is after7:40am.
Early Release: Please have your student bring a note to theoffice upon arrival at school, if he/she is being released early (doctor,dentist, etc.). The office will issue apass for the student to arrive in time for pick up. This way, the office does not have to disturba classroom in order to have the student here. Parents must come in to sign out their student, and they must show aphoto ID to the office personnel.
CRESTVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL ENDOF SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Grade cardsWILL NOT be mailed if a textbook/school items are not turned in or fines areowed for lost textbooks, textbook damage, project fees, etc. Check in the Guidance Office for losttextbooks. Visitors(high school students or students from other schools) are NOT to attendschool for any reason. No hallpasses will be issued to students during the last week of schoolunless it is an emergency. Students must check with their teachers to verify all their workhas been turned in and arrangements must be made with teachers to make up testsor turn in any late or incomplete assignments. Items no longer needed at school should be taken home. LIBRARY BOOKS should be turned in to thelibrary and unclaimed textbooks that are found should be turned in to theGuidance Office secretary. Students should find and clean all textbooks in order to havethem ready to be collected. Studentsshould be in possession of their own textbooks. Books which are found should be turned in to the Guidance Officesecretary. Students who have lostbooks should check in the Guidance office for them. Parents should check with the student to see if he/she has anyoutstanding fees. Students should payall fines to the appropriate teachers. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT COME TO THEOFFICE TO PAY FINES. Fines paid forby check are to be made payable to Crestview Middle School. Teachers will turn in a list of studentsstill owing for fines by May 24. UntilMay 29 the office has no way of knowing which students still owe fines. Receptacles will be placed in the corridors to use when Teamshave locker clean out. Padlocksremaining on lockers after the Team's locker clean out will be cut off. Articles inlost and found will be retained for ten week days after May24. AfterJune 8, these articles will be given to a service organization. Students should go to the nurse's office to arrange for aparent/guardian to pick up the student’s medication. All thedays of a suspension will be served, even if some days will need to be servedat the beginning of the next school year. The appropriate high school will be notified of any 8th grade suspensionwhich will carry over to the beginning of next school year. Students owning yearbooks are advised to put their names on themAS SOON AS THEY RECEIVE THEM. Theschool will not take responsibility for lost yearbooks. Yearbooksshould NOT be brought to school on the last day - Thursday, May 24. STUDENTSSHOULD NOT BRING BOOK BAGS, DUFFLE BAGS, ETC., TO SCHOOL THE LAST DAY. If these items are brought, students willneed to show teachers or administrators the contents. Please keepand follow this schedule as closely as possible as it should contribute to anorderly and pleasant ending of the school year.
